An incredible piece of history, this life preserver was once on-board the S.S. Glacier Bay - the ship that, on July 2, 1987, hit a submerged obstacle and resulted in an oil spill in the Cook Inlet in the Gulf of Alaska. Life preserver is in used condition and shows wear. Measures approximately 30" in diameter.
