Highly collectible 1959 Danish-modern Pelican, part of the Zoo-Line collection from designer Kaj Bojesen. Pelican is carved from teak wood and is in very good condition - leg joints are slightly loose (could easily be remedied, if desired). Pelican's mouth opens to reveal a small round cavity for storing bits and bobs and the red "tongue" is actually a magnet - best used to perhaps pick up paper clips stored in the pouch. Measures approximately 6" tall.
