Children's Chair - Red Fiberglass Shell Chair
$125.00
I think that both of us wish we lived during the 50's and 60's - an era that produced such great design. Many of the items that have passed through our hands here at Three Potato Four are from this amazing period of time, including this collection of vintage-modern children's chairs. From the classic Harry Bertoia wire chair to Thonet's famous bentwood chairs, these classic furniture pieces take on an even more impressive and dynamic dimension in this smaller-scale children's chair form.
This vintage red molded fiberglass children's chair, marked Krueger Metal Products, has the distinct form and silhouette of the famous Herman Miller Stacking Fiberglass Shell chairs of the 1950's. And at this fairly rare smaller size, is plain and simply "cute". With its wide base stance, this chair was built with both high form and function. Chair is in worn vintage condition showing rust, chips to the fiberglass and tensions cracks, but still appears to be very sturdy and looks great on display (we have two in our personal collection in similar condition that receive daily use). Overall dimensions are: 17'L' x 17'W' x 23''H.
