This heavy gauge steel clock face most likely once hung in a factory or other industrial setting. With its classic and simple numeric typeface, it makes us nostalgic for old school clocks (which we love!).

Clock face is definitely old and weathered, but can easily be restored to working condition by installing new timepiece. Number 9 is missing a small screw, but that could also easily be mended, if needed.
