This vintage clear plastic educational globe is used to teach the constellations and the rotation of the sun around the earth - very reminiscent of the classic Trippensee Planetarium models used in classrooms everywhere, but contained within a singular globe structure. A small dial attached to the top of the globe allows the user to rotate the sun around the inner earth globe. Globe is in worn vintage condition and shows wear including overall surface scratches, some yellowing of the clear plastic and minor cracks in the base. But overall globe is an excellent showpiece and a truly unique addition to any modern interior. Overall dimensions measure approximately 14"h x 13" in diameter.
