There was quite an abundance of amazing Danish wooden toys made in the 1950's, most popularly those from designer Kaj Bojesen. This wooden monkey toy, though not marked Bojesen, is very reminiscent of his famous work. Monkey is in very worn and weathered condition with chips, scratches and a missing ear (must have been very well-loved and very well-traveled) but still looks great on display. Measures approximately 9"h (in arms raised position).
