Keiller's Marmalade dates back to 1797, when a Spanish ship carrying Seville oranges took refuge in the harbor town of Dundee, Scotland. James Keiller, a local grocer, purchased the cargo; his wife Janet boiled the oranges with sugar to make a tart orange marmalade.
Jar is in good overall condition showing no nicks, cracks or scratches, just overall surface wear to the graphics and crazing effect. Jar measures 4.5" inches high by 3" inches in diameter.
