This late 40's early 50's black and white military map of Scandinavia is entitled, "Armed Forces Information and Education Division, OSD, Visual Aid to Accompany Armed Forces Talk No.372, Scandinavia Today". In addition to basic geography, map was used to identify Railroads, Rivers, Iron, Forest, Diary Farming, Farming, Sea Ports and Fishing. Map has cloth backing and is attached to wood dowels on top and bottom. There is a brass ring and cloth tie at the top for either storage or easy hanging. Map is unrestored, but is in very good vintage condition with expected ragged edges and overall minor rubbing/wear. A very rare treasure, this map is a perfect for any modern interior.
