This teak wood bird is quite a character. He is vintage and has definitely been well-loved (his wood eyes are worn away). Not sure what type of bird he is but he is wonderfully handcrafted and his neck can be swiveled up and down. He is marked with J.V. Orel, a noted danish-modern designer, and measures 6.25" inches high.
