Hand Decorated Print - A Shoe-In
Highly collectible 1971 hand-decorated art "Marlene" print entitled "A Shoe-In". Print reads, "Shaped like afoot this Slipper Bath, known as "Sabot" in France, was a complicated construction requiring about 20 pieces of sheet metal. When immersed only the bathers head and shoulders were in view. A good way to maintain both warmth and privacy!". Both print and frame are in very good like-new vintage condition. Measures approximately 12.75" x 9.75. These prints, distributed by the Soovia Janis Inc. company, were made popular in the late 60's and early 70's and have recently made quite a comeback as a coveted kitchen art print collectible.
