Antique 1930's "exploding" toy ship manufactured by Keystone Wood Toy Co. Ship is missing several of its original pieces and is in worn and weathered condition, but spring-loaded internal "exploding" mechanism still functions. Ship "explodes" (the top portion flies off) when side-mounted pin is pressed, triggering the internal mouse-trap-like spring mechanism to push-off the top portion of the ship. Measures approximately 14" long.
