We're nuts for nautical-themed items. This amazing handcrafted model wooden aircraft carrier has a heavy solid wood base and antique paint finish. Dating back most likely to the 1950's at one of the heights of the model building craze, we're unsure as to whether or not this was from a kit or completely homemade. Either way, it's a beautiful example of a timeless hobby. Measures approximately 25"l x 6.25" w x 4.5"h (inclusive of on-deck components). Aircraft is in unrestored vintage condition and shows wear - including a broken/missing gun turret on the starboard bow.
