We're huge collectors of vintage classroom materials and absolutely love this huge oversized vintage 1955 school classroom thermometer. Thermometer is made of thick rigid cardboard and does show wear from use including overall surface wear and bumped edges. Thermometer works by use of a length of ribbon that wraps around vertically: half of the ribbon is white and the other half is red to indicate temperature. Thermometer measures 11"w x 35.5"h.
