Original antique vehicle U.S. Mail metal sign topper used by a local postal carrier, most likely in a rural or remote area. This sign was placed atop the mail carrier's personal vehicle (via the suction cups on the metal frame) in cases where the official mail truck was not available or simply not used in that area. Sign is double-sided and in good condition. Sign measures 28" x 7" with overall length including bar at 42".
