This vintage simplified children's globe features bold brilliant graphics, large easy-to-read type and a molded raised surface to illustrate land features such as mountain ranges and elevations. The globe sits on a peg on a beautifully preserved wood base to allow for rotation at the proper tilt, but can be removed from base for all those arctic explorers wishing to know more about Antarctica. Globe is in very good condition and measures approximately 11" in diameter.
