Vintage collectible antique miniature rubber tire with embedded compass. Similar to most collectible tire memorabilia, this item was more than likely a giveaway or promotion item for a tire manufacturer. Tire is in worn and weathered vintage condition and compass does appear to still be working, but does need a tiny shake when it occasionally gets stuck. Measures 2" in diameter and 1/4" high.
