There's a shelf in my parents house that is filled with these books. My dad is a civil engineer and he has filled pages and pages of these field books with his formulas, calculations and sketches. Each building, bridge, tunnel he has built has its own field book- over forty years worth. An amazing collection of knowledge recorded after many years of land surveying and engineering. He retired just last year and had a bulk of these vintage unused field books. This particular style field book is no longer produced.

I love how well-crafted they are, able to withstand lots of wear and tear from daily use on construction sites. Interior graph pages are made of a water resistant surface and sewed with special enamel waterproof thread. Measures approximately 4.5" by 6.75".
