WWII Educational Bomber Aircraft Model
This vintage wooden Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress model aircraft kit dates back to the 1940's WWII era. The Flying Fortress was a four-engine heavy bomber aircraft used by the Air Force against industrial, civilian and military targets. The kit is complete with all parts in very good clean condition (does not appear to have ever been used) and comes with original assembly instruction sheet. Kit was developed so that all parts fit snugly in place, however, joints are a bit tight and might need a bit of sanding to ensure a secure fit. Also included are the four original wooden propellers (not affixed in photo shown above). Wingspan measures 21" wide, fuselage measures 16" long. Made of pine and mahogany.
