An exquisite functional piece, this vintage wood carved bird is actually a pipe holder. When removed, the hollowed head and body serve as a rather sly and sophisticated resting place for your pipe with the end of the pipe serving as the bird's tail. And as an added bonus, bird's head can be rotated, allowing him to show a wide array of emotions and be displayed in a variety of positions. Bird is believed to be of German origin and measures approximately 6" high with a 3.25" diameter base. Bird is in good vintage condition. Comes with original decorative placeholder pipe.
