This antique wood box is a bit of a mystery. Was it used in the military? Was it used by a doctor ("MD")? Why did the contents require a lock? Did it have something to do with Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD)? To add to the mystery, it looks as though the box was built using old planks from a Western Electric Washer & Ringer box. We've used it to hold magazines, but the options are endless.

Measures 15"l x 9"w x 7.5"h and in very weathered condition.
