When we first moved here from the city. I spotted a little yellow bird outside on our bird feeder. I thought it was someone's pet that had escaped, but there are wild yellow birds here called American Goldfinches. I later spotted a bunch of them hanging out in my flower garden.

This ceramic yellow bird sits upon a gourd. He is a sweet thing and the gourd beneath him has a place to hold your little bits and pieces. Measures 5" inches high and about 3" inches wide.
